Monika graduated with her PhD from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. Before transitioning to academic publishing, she was an associate professor at Jagiellonian University’s Faculty of Chemistry. Prior to joining Cell Press as the editor-in-chief for Cell Biomaterials, Monika served as a managing editor for Applied Surface Science and an associate editor for Materials Today Communications. With a background in academia, research, and publishing, Monika has a strong understanding of the scientific community and a passion for advancing knowledge in the field.
