Dr. Bryan Yipp is a professor and physician-scientist at The University of Calgary. Bryan trained in the Clinical Scholars program in immunology at The Rockefeller University, New York, where he studied under Dr. Ralph Steinman. His research interests include using intravital microscopy to directly see how immune cells behave during lung infections.  Most recently he has turned his attention to how the lung nervous system shapes the inflammatory and immune responses during infection and fibrosis.  Additionally, his research program is interested in how lung neuronal responses directly communicate with the central nervous system to impact systemic manifestations of disease.
