Ryan Potts, Ph.D., is Vice President of Research at Amgen, where he leads Discovery Science, Advanced Technologies, and AI (DATA) to advance innovative drug discovery platforms and therapeutic modalities. He joined Amgen in 2020 to build and lead the Induced Proximity Platform focused on expanding the druggable genome through multispecific and proximity-based therapeutics. Prior to Amgen, Dr. Potts held faculty and research leadership positions at UT Southwestern Medical Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He earned his Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from UT Southwestern in 2007.
