Professor Francis Ka-ming Chan is the Qiushi Chair Professor at the Zhejiang University School of Basic Medical Sciences, with joint appointments as a Principal Investigator at Liangzhu Laboratory and Professor at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He is also Adjunct Professor at Duke University (USA). He has been awarded the West Lake Pearl Distinguished Expert (Hangzhou) and Zhejiang Province Kunpeng Leading Talent. Professor Chan serves on the Editorial Board of Cell Death and Differentiation (Nature Publishing Group) and holds the position of Vice President of the Cell Death Chapter of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology. His research focuses on the molecular regulation of programmed cell death and inflammation in pathogen infection and tissue homeostasis. He is the co-discoverer of RIPK3, the essential kinase of necroptosis, a finding that has fundamentally shaped the development of the cell death field in the last decade.

陈家明，浙江大学基础医学院求是讲席教授，良渚实验室特聘教授、浙江大学附属第二医院教授、美国杜克大学客座教授、杭州市西湖明珠顶尖人才、浙江省鲲鹏顶尖人才、Cell Death and Differentiation 编委、中国细胞生物学会细胞死亡分会副会长。 研究领域为细胞死亡与免疫调控，发现坏死性凋亡(Necroptosis)关键蛋白RIPK3，并鉴定其在病原体感染与组织稳态中的重要作用。
